The Meletti Cafè, a historic landmark in Ascoli Piceno, dresses up for the holidays without losing its soul. The Christmas installation was born from a quiet listening to the space, an attentive observation of daily gestures and pre-existing objects. This is how Christmas returns to the café with ease: a warm, genuine atmosphere that rekindles authentic memories and restores a shared intimacy to the collective ritual of the season.
This intervention moved gently, allowing the walls themselves to suggest what needed to be done. After carefully studying the flow and habits of the café’s guests, every choice was made to harmonize with the existing context, from the shop windows to the interiors, down to the smallest details. By combining recovered objects with carefully chosen contemporary touches, the design brought back an authentic festive atmosphere, one that respects the identity of the Meletti Cafè and resonates emotionally with everyone who steps inside.
