A penthouse with irregular geometry becomes a new center of gravity for a young family choosing to live in the heart of Busto Arsizio without giving up the open breath of greenery and mountains. The renovation embraces the needs of contemporary comfort while honoring the emotional memories of a lived-in home, welcoming the past with an eye to the future.

THE PROJECT

Spread across two levels, the apartment unfolds through varying heights and open perspectives, with a complex architectural structure full of potential. The intervention operated on several layers: streamlining the layout, enhancing natural light, and integrating systems discreetly. The large terrace becomes a fluid extension of the living area, while the interiors are enriched with custom furnishings and tactile surfaces that harmonize with carefully reintegrated family furniture. The material palette – wood, metal, resin, soft matte finishes – was chosen to support everyday gestures with continuity and coherence. A dynamic balance between structure and warmth, technique and identity.
